Some time back, I happened to notice that one of my colleagues had her name embroidered onto an umbrella, so I asked her where she got it done.
Seems like there is a shop called Wakili Singapore just next to Potong Pasir MRT Station (the address is 26 Upper Serangoon Road, Sennett Estate, which is just a stone's throw from my office) that provides embroidery service, so I decided to pay it a visit during lunchtime two days ago.Turns out that the embroidery is done not by hand, but by a machine with spools of thread of various colours connected to a computer! Talk about the wonders of modern technology!
I brought along a hat, and got them to embroider it with my name for just S$5.
Now there's another source to get customised gifts done :-)
As I looked at the hat with my name on it, a deeper spiritual truth dawned upon me. We who are believers of the New Covenant, have the Holy Spirit's seal upon our hearts, testifying that we are children of Abba Father, thus indicating to whose we belong. Amen?
