Special Midweek Service

Saturday, 16th May 2009

It's been quite a while since a Midweek Service was held at NewCre.

I believe the last one that was held featuring Ps Prince was as far back as Sep 2007, because I had gone there with 2 fellow PLMC members :-D

Well, praise the Lord, because there will be one that is going to be held as follows:

Special Midweek Service With Pastor Joseph Prince

Church, gear up for an exciting time in the Word of God at our special midweek service! It's going to be for one evening only, so don't miss it!

Date: Wednesday, 20 May 2009
Time: 7.30pm
Venues: Rock Auditorium, Rock (Levels 4 & 6 Suntec Tower Four), SICEC* Gallery West

The last time a midweek service was held, two days a week, the church was hovering around 10k+++ members, and now we're having one midweek service on a church with 21-22k members.

Houston, we have a problem.

(In a good way, of course. =D)

I ended class at 3 pm, reached there at 4.30 and already there was no more seats left in the Main Audi..

So we sat on the floor...

Later, I heard that even GALLERY WEST had people sitting on the floor!!

That has NEVER happened before...

Oh, and Brian Houston is coming on 7th June 09 ! Thats less than a month away! Hope the crowd doesnt "mysteriously" disappear then...

God is really causing all things to work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose :-)

NewCre will surpass City Harvest by the time OneNorth is built. After all, the architect had a vision where God told him he would build Singapore's biggest church. No wonder Rev Kong Hee has to resort to undermining Ps Prince's ministry...

I was sitting on the floor too ... outside main auditorium, parents' foyer, and I requested for a chair for my wife cos she could not sit on the floor due to her back. ... think more than 5000 attended ... and was fed, and with 12 baskets left over ... hahaha

Hi Mal,
I don't think it is appropriate to say that Rev Kong Hee is undermining JP's ministry.

I think Rev KH is entitled to stand up for what he believes in, and hence conversely also to speak out against what he feels is wrong teachings. I feel that this should not be construed as undermining someone else's ministry.

I personally feel that Rev KH's teachings are not really correct, and on my blog, I have questioned whether those teachings which Rev KH said are questionable are really questionable in his article "Balance is the key of life". I have also argued against the teachings which Rev KH offered as correct.

I do not want to be misunderstood to be undermining Rev KH's ministry because of my "Questionable 'Questionable Teachings'" articles.

Likewise, I think Rev KH also would not want to be accused of undermining JP's ministry.
