Umbrella

Sunday, 22nd June 2008

On two previous occasions, I tried my hand at writing short stories.

Today, I shall embark on drawing a short comic strip.

There is a saying that goes "a picture speaks a thousand words".

If this were so, then these 2 pictures would be equivalent to a 2,000-word essay.

Oh by the way, the title of today's post is also the name of a very popular song made famous by Rihanna.

That's the one that ends with the echo "ella ella ay ay ay"...

Hi Mal,

Cute cartoon and "seriously disturbing" ;-)

You have posted an advisory to readers to "Read at Your Own Peril" but seriously, I think that actually you are posting at your own peril judging from some of the comments you have been receiving.

Nevertheless, keep on posting bro cos I have been blessed by your sharing :-)

Shalom

Hi Stan

Visits have trebled in the past week.

Sure, my good intentions have been misunderstood and I have been "persecuted", so to speak.

But if it gets people thinking, and ultimately praying for the veil to be lifted, then it would have all been worth the while.

Ha ha, the more disturbing the contents, the more the comments.

Lol. Love the strip. Cute!

You know what is interesting, Malcolm? My friend was just emailing me about how she feels she has too many things under her umbrella to handle.

I just replied her to trust that God will upgrade her tiny, foldable umbrella into a big golf umbrella AND give her the strength to wield it amidst the strong winds and storm.

I also did the umbrella-eh-eh thing haha.

Let's keep abiding under His Wings. (I love that 80s song Wind Beneath My Wings).

God bless!

Hi Jeff

My kids had gotten very attached to Hannah.

And making that video was their way of expressing how they feel, and coping with the loss.

I always choke with emotion when I watch it.

Bro,

You are an emotional man and very funny.

I showed the video to my daughter.By the way, her name happens to be Hannah. But she's not a hamster.

Just came back from Tioman for holiday.Used to keep hamsters but now we have birds and an aquarium.

Pastor Mark's recent sermon was real funny but powerful bro!
