Sowing Bountifully

Sunday, 24th August 2008

A couple of weeks ago, something wonderful happened to cause me to believe that God is going to cause me to prosper fivefold.

Today is my first trip to New Creation Church since going on a sabbatical. To activate that faith, I am going to sow bountifully into a ministry which God has truly used to liberate me from my previous religious and legalistic theological beliefs.

I now understand what the true gospel of Jesus is and what His finished work on the cross has accomplished for me – the abundant life which encompasses prosperity, wholeness and peace.

I am really looking forward to testifying to all of you and giving the glory to God when He causes me to reap bountifully as a result of sowing this miracle seed :-)

Actually, to be more precise, I look forward to being able to tithe the above amount every month, with God as my witness.

P.S. If any of you accuse me of having this motive to “get something back in return”, I am guilty as charged. Come to think of it, the farmer who sows a handful of seeds into the ground stands equally guilty because he is expecting those seeds to produce a bountiful harvest. Even Paul said that those who sow bountifully will also reap bountifully, so I am in great company :-)

In tithing and in any ministry work, how much God chooses to multiply in return is regardless of the size of miracle seed. If we expect to reap bountiful by means of increasing the size of seed, it shows we have no confidence in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. If we believe God can only multiply 2x or 10x in return, to reap more, the law of multiplication says we need to increase the size of seed, then we’re missing the grace of God. The focus should be on God's multiplying power (20x, 60x, 100x), instead of the seed size. By all means give all we can. But the amount of return is never based on how much we tithe or time spent in ministry work.
Mark 4:8 Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, multiplying thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times."

@ Mango,

In that case, why did the boy give the Lord 5 loaves 2 fish and not
1 loave and 1 fish? :)

What's your intepretation on
2 Corinthians 9:6

Notice two whole chapters on giving but nothing mentioned of tithing but grace giving.I agree though that he who sows generously will reap generously.

2 Cor 9:6 (NKJV)
But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

5 mango x 2 = 10 mango
5 mango x 30 = 150 mango
5 mango x 60 = 300 mango
5 mango x 100 = 500 mango

5,555 mango x 2 = 11,110 mango
5,555 mango x 30 = 166,650 mango
5,555 mango x 60 = 333,300 mango
5,555 mango x 100 = 555,500 mango

Simple math, Simple truth.
Sow sparingly, Reap sparingly.
Sow bountifully, Reap bountifully.

Let refer to the 5 loaves and 2 fish => can feed 5,000 plus 12 baskets left-over. And that is only Jesus' one-fold blessing.

Every 5 mangoes = 5 loaves and 2 mangoes = 2 fish, can produced the same as above.

It work-out as: 793.57142 sets of (5 loaves and 2 fish, let named this a sowing in Lord's hands.

Using 793.57142 sets of sowing can produce:

793.57142 can feed (5,000 x 793.57142) = 3,967,857.10 people

plus

793,57142 can result also at the amount of (12 baskets x 793.57142) = 9,522.857 baskets of left-over.

God's basket-sized is sure big!

AMEN!!!!

We have a Big GOD, brothers!!!
Just God's one-fold blessing is way above the sun and out of this world.
