Dearest readers of ROOTSS
Those of you who feel the need to post comments may have discovered that the settings have been changed to disallow anonymous postings.
This was done on the advice of several readers who wanted to see a proper discussion about doctrinal issues, and not get distracted by those who deceive others by hiding behind several pseudonyms so as to give the impression of numerosity.
There is one particular person who, having discovered that he cannot make comments anonymously, has now resorted to using the cbox chatter to take his potshots. (I found this out because both Sitemeter and cbox stamps the IP address of postings). As I would rather not be throwing the baby out with the bathwater, he can have that as his playground of indulgence for now :-)
There was another dear sister from NCC who sent me an email about two weeks back, gently admonishing me regarding the recent series of episodes (she was one of them who adviced me to change the comments settings, by the way).
I had felt that the contents of her email were written out of genuine sincerity, and would give another perspective on the matter, and hence sought her permission to publish it, but without revealing her name. She replied that she is a shy person by nature, and hence did not want me to do so.
Having said that, if for any reason any of you feel that you need to express something and yet want to remain anonymous, please send me an email at mloh77@starhub.net.sg, and I will publish it on your behalf.
