Intermission

Dear Theophili and Theophilae

Nope, I am not taking a break from blogging, but that's actually the title of the best album ever :-)

I have mentioned in an earlier blog entry that my all-time favourite contemporary Christian song is Jesus Freak by DC Talk.

Well, my all-time favourite album is also by DC Talk. It is entitled "Intermission -- The Greatest Hits" and was released in 2000. It contains 19 tracks, including "Jesus Freak", and it is one of the playlists that can be found in my PDA phone.

You can listen to samples of the songs here

I must be careful where I am when listening to the album, because quite a number of songs on it will touch my spirit man, and it can be quite embarassing for a grown man to be crying in public. Besides the song "Jesus Freak", the other tracks that always move me to tears are "Colored People", "Between You and Me", "Consume Me" and "My Will".

So if you happen to see me with a pair of headphones and my eyes are red, chances are that the playlist on my PDA phone reads "Intermission".

Shalom
Malcolm
